The phone number communication app owned by Meta, is reportedly down in Nigeria.
WhatsApp users in Nigeria are currently unable to send or receive messages on the app. Also, status cannot be uploaded as well.
When Did WhatsApp Go Down?
WhatsApp downtime was noted few minutes past 9:00 Wednesday evening (WAT).
The downtime has prevented sending messages to groups, while personal messages doesn’t tick, showing the message has not been sent or received.
Reason Why WhatsApp Is Down is because of the recent upgrades that might have bugs that needs to be eradicated.
