Born Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, Bella Shmurda has become one of Nigeria’s most powerful singers. Following the release of the single ‘Vision 2020’, which recorded the noise on the streets of Lagos, after gaining attention in 2019.
The singer went on an unparalleled single run, leading to the release of their first EP, 2020’s High tension. On the other side of the current Headies Next Rated Award, the street poet is speaking through music with a conscious message.
He recently announced the second part of his debut EP High Tension 2.o. Watching the young composer drive himself into the experimental world, the E.P decides to deliver classical music and reaches the forefront of the New Guards of Afrobeat Music.
