Kenneth Paul Block, better known as Ken Block is a professional rally driver from the United States of America. He was born on November 21, 1967 in the state of California.
As a result of his dangerous exploits behind the wheel, he shot to fame on the internet. When Ken Block was competing, he was a member of the Monster World Rally Team, which later became the Hoonigan Racing Division.
After selling his investment in DC Shoes, one of the companies’ co-founders, he switched his attention in the business world to Hoonigan Industries, which is a clothing company geared toward motor fans. Ken Block was a co-owner of the business and was known as the “Head Hoonigan in Charge” (HHIC).
Ken Block began his career as a rally driver in 2005, and in the same year, he was honored with the Rookie of the Year award in the Rally America Championship. He was a competitor in the World Rally Championship and the X Games, where he won many medals in rallycross competition.
In addition to that, he took part in a wide variety of action sports competitions, such as skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross. After being involved in a snowmobile accident on Monday, January 2, 2022, Ken Block passed away at the age of 55.
Wasatch County, located in the state of Utah, was the scene of the accident. According to the local Sheriff’s Office, Ken Block was riding in the Mill Hollow area when his snowmobile flipped over on a steep hill and fell on top of him. The incident occurred while Block was on the slope. At the site of the collision, he was determined to be deceased.
