EPL: I Am Battling Pancreatic Cancer – Chelsea Legend Gianluca Vialli Reveals

Chelsea legend Gianluca Vialli has revealed he is battling cancer for a second time.

The 57-year-old Italian who played for and oversaw Chelsea, was first determined to have pancreatic disease in 2017.

He was, cleared  to be free from the illness in 2020 after going through long periods of chemotherapy.

From that point forward, he has gotten back to function as an individual from Roberto Mancini’s staff with Italian public group.

However, presently the 57-year-old who won the FA Cup and League Cup with Chelsea, said the dangerous disease has returned.


Talking at a London book dispatch, he said, “I feel better, however my excursion isn’t yet finished.

“The undesirable visitor, as I call it, is still here with me. Right now I am in upkeep mode.

“The growth is still there. Now and again it is more perceptible, at others less so.

“I will continue to battle since I need to be hanging around for some more years.

“I need you to need to endure me for quite a while to come.

“I take that strength from my family, companions, and every one of the people who give me such mental fortitude. I can’t express gratitude toward them enough.”
