Reasons Why Twitter Ban Was Lifted | FGN Release Statement

Twitter ban in Nigeria has been lifted by the FGN after a memo was presented to the President and he approved.

You may recall, Twitter was banned from Nigeria on the 5th of July, 2021 by order given by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alh. Lai Mohammed.

Twitter ban was lifted yesterday night but started working fine at 12am today.

The approval was given following a memo presented to the President Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari by the Honorable Minister Of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Aji Ibrahim as stated in the documents below..
