“I don’t know why she posted we never dated”, BBNaija’s Micheal Reacts On Jackie B’s Tweet

Jackie B had noted in a now-deleted tweet that she and Michael never dated, adding that they were just friends, and agreed to remain as such.

Former Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye star, and ex-housemate, Michael Chukwuebuka Ngene, has reacted to the post where his love interest and BBNaija lover Jackie B stated that they never dated.

Jackie B posted this as a response to her supporter’s comment about Michael, where the supporter wrote that Michael is very embarrassing, citing what happened during the Shine Ya Eye Reunion show.

“He is embarrassing please”, the supporter tweeted.

And while responding to the supporter’s comment, Jackie B clarified that she and Michael never dated, and are not currently after a relationship. Jackie added that her decision was for them to remain as friends.

“Lol chill my loves, Michael and I never dated and aren’t after a relationship. It was my decision that we remained friends. We’ve never felt the need to explain ourselves to anyone. There’s nothing to be embarrassed by. It’s still not that deep”, Jackie’s response to her fan’s post read.

However, Michael, while speaking on Twitter Space with his fans and followers said that he’s very shocked to see that the tweet came from someone like Jackie B.

Michael disclosed that he and Jackie B actually dated, but it was briefly, adding that they sorted things out when they noticed that it might to work for them, going forward.

Michael said in the voice note; “I don’t have to give all the details, but it’s my responsibility to tell the truth. As you guys all know, I don’t really understand her tweet to be honest. The whole we never dated part. That obviously, I mean, was her tweet. But I was under the impression that we were dating. We dated, we saw what it was.

“Ever since I came out of the House, I said I wanted to see things, I wanted to explore. I wanted to see what’s up. That’s exactly what I did. I don’t know why she said we never dated. But I don’t want to speak wrongly, if she doesn’t feel the same way.

“So, I’m just going to speak for myself. That’s exactly what I did. I’ll tell you the truth, we dated for a minute, we dated briefly. It wasn’t really going all the way, because to me if you’re dating you’re dating towards marriage, having kids, things like that. Or else it should be casual, you understand.

“When we realized that it wasn’t really going to go all the way like, we just decided to be friends. Just to be cool with each other because it’s what makes sense at the time.

“When I saw that tweet, bunch of people message me and said like, ‘oh, you guys were faking it, you guys never dated, you guys were taking advantage of the shippers’. And I’m seeing all these messages, I don’t even know what was going on. You guys should just understand. I had just woken up. I don’t even know what episode (of the Reunion) had aired.

“So, I was just getting all these messages, like, ‘oh you guys were fake. Michael you’re fake, Michael you lied. You used the shippers. You did her dirty’, this and that, oh my God, what’s going on?

“And then I saw that tweet, and I got even more confused, because that’s somebody that I talked to. We actually spoke about that situation the same night that we filmed the Reunion. We spoke about that. And all other episode that aired I cleared it up. And I just thought that’s what it was.

“I wasn’t tuning in to the Reunion. I don’t even really know what’s going on until I came to the social media the next day.

“So, when that episode aired, I didn’t know what was going on. I was asleep by like 9pm. So, then I woke up the next day, saw everything that was going on. And to be completely honest with you, I was blindsided by the tweet that I saw. I was under the impression that we understood ourselves because we spoke about it. I explained myself enough. So, to see that tweet, I was kind of like hmmm.

“Sometimes you wonder if someone is paid to do something. Something will just happen so surprisingly that you take a step back and wonder like damn, do I even know this person?

“When I saw that tweet, it was something for sure. And you guys know me, I’m not into something that’s all politically correct thing. Like saying something just to sound some type of way.

“I’m not interested in the tweet. I don’t have to give all the details”.

Meanwhile, Michael and Jackie B, during the Big Brother Naija Reunion disclosed that they’re still friends, and have decided to explore the relationship to see if it’s going to work for them or not.

And Michael, while describing Jackie B at the time stated that she’s an amazing personality who has been a very good buddy to him and he appreciates her unconditional love and friendship.
